Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

An aircraft ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," an official representative stated in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This incident does not mark the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was required to turn back to Washington DC after encountering a technical issue.
